A popular dish throughout Italy with green sweet peas, onions and bacon.

150g of frozen garden peas
1 small onion (sliced)
50g pancetta (or bacon strips)
2tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cook peas following the instructions on the bag. Heat oil in a frying pan and add the onion and bacon. Fry for 3/4 minutes until the onion is golden brown and bacon is crispy. Add the peas, a pinch of salt and pepper. Leave to cook on medium heat for 4 minutes and serve in bowls.
