"The Funghi pizza is totally vegetarian but that does not mean short on flavour.  Made from a blend of edam and mozzarella cheese and flavoured with parsley and oregano,  the tomato base is not at all sweet and gives this pizza its elegant taste. The mushrooms' flavours are subtle and earthy so we need a juicy lively wine to match with it.

Young fruity red wines will go wonderfully well with this pizza. The red fruit flavours will work well with the mushroom and compliment its earthy flavour."

This wine has tons of summer fruit flavours, including cherry, strawberry and plum backed by a hint of spice and soft tannin. It is wonderfully juicy and expresses the character of the warm Chilean climate. This young refreshing Pinot Noir with all the expressive fruit flavours brings out the subtle mushroom flavour in this pizza.

This wine is from the south of Italy, made from a grape variety native to where it is produced, Sicily. This is a gorgeous easy drinking red wine with soft red cherry fruit, a perfect match for the soft cheese and mushroom flavours.
