Made with a blend of mozzarella and edam cheese, the toppings include chicken, spinach and sweet corn which cover a subtle tomato base which is not too sweet. There is a lovely mild curry flavour that adds a spicy lift to it.  To work well with the spicy curry flavour, you need a wine with a hint of sweetness which both of these wines have."

Zinfandel is a red grape, so White Zinfandel usually comes in a colour the Americans like to call ‘blush’ or Rosé.  Californian Rosé is a sweeter style of wine, the slightly sweet aspect makes it good with spicy food as it works well with the spice without aggravating the heat.

This wine is made by one of Spain’s most famous winemakers, Miguel Torres, from 85% Moscatel blended with a little Gewurztraminer.  It also has low alcohol by volume at 11.5%. A perfumed wine with lovely sweetish flavours of peach, orange and stone fruit it will work well with the spicy curry flavours in this pizza.
