Making Vanilla Shortcrust Pastry

Follow these simple instructions to make delicious vanilla infused pastry.

To create vanilla infused pastry, roll out your pastry then simply cut a  Vanilla Pod in half and press the vanilla seeds from the pod into the pastry. Fold the pastry in half so that the seeds are in the middle of the pastry and re-roll to ensure the seeds are spread throughout the pastry.


Or when adding your butter to your shortcrust pastry add 1tsp of vanilla paste and mix through the pastry.
