For the recipe Gingerbread spices
|2 g||Coriander seeds|
|1 g||All Spice|
|6 g||Cinnamon Sticks|
|2 g||Ginger Powder|
|2 g||Nutmeg Powder|
|about 2 g||Cardomom Pods|
Add the whole spices to a mortar and grind to a fine powder. Mix in the remaining spices and immediately place the gingerbread spices in an airtight container.
Whilst ground ingredients can also be used, the essential oils in freshly ground whole spices are stronger and have not yet dissipated.
