Preparation

Get Baking!

  1. Use the quantity of Ground Arrowroot as stated in your recipe.
  2. One sachet contains one measured level tablespoon for convenience.
  3. Ground arrowroot can be used as a general thickener or glaze in sweet and savoury recipes.
  4. To make a glaze, mix the Ground Arrowroot with a little water (approx. 2 tbsp.) to help it dissolve evenly.
  5. Add the rest of the liquid required for your glaze, using one sachet for every 150ml (1/4pt) of liquid.
  6. Bring liquid to boiling point, remove from heat and stir until mixture thickens.
  7. Do not over boil as this may cause the Ground Arrowroot to lose its thickening quality.

Here's a cooking tip

Use the quantity of Ground Arrowroot as stated in your recipe.

To make a glaze, use one sachet for every 150ml (¼pt) of liquid, mix with a little cold water before adding to your liquid. Bring liquid to boiling point, remove from heat and stir until mixture thickens.

Do not overboil as this may cause it to liquify and lose its thickening power.
